About LeMS

LeMS (Actual name removed for privacy) is a computer enthusiast with a love for old technology. LeMS is an avid Firefox, Windows 7 and Zune user. Some other old technologies that LeMS uses include Windows Media Player and Windows XP.

LeMS Recommendations

1. Don't use WinTrash 11 (Sometimes called Windows 11), the "newest" version of Windows where you are the Beta tester and have no control over your data.
2. Avoid Google Products, as when you use them, YOU are the product (instead use an alternative platform like: Firefox and DuckDuckGo or even self host!)
3. If you are planning to use a streaming service for a long time, don't. Instead purchase the physical media instead (CD's and Blu-Rays) as then you never have to worry about losing access to it or the content being altered.
4. Old software (including operating systems) is often better than "new" software. You don't need to be connected to an online account all the time, you have control over updates and you only need to pay once (along with many other benefits)
